Conveys Ancestry Brewing’s culture to customers by providing exceptional and interactive customer service to customers.
Knows the menu and is able to constructively answer questions and give customers educated and knowledgeable recommendations.
Works collaboratively as a team player by proactively assisting coworkers and working with a spirit of cooperation to harmoniously provide an overall positive experience for customers.
Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure..
Respectfully takes direction from the General Manager.
Maintains complete knowledge of Ancestry Brewing’s beverage and food preparation and is able to educate customers on Ancestry Brewing products.
Greets and serves customers in a friendly, courteous and timely manner and follows up on and delivers beverage and food orders in a proactive and timely manner.
Serves multiple tables and buses tables as determined by management in a timely manner.
Receives and processes payments in a timely manner.
Checks identification of guests to ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages and in a polite manner refuses to serve beverages to guests who are not of legal age.
Observes the behaviors of guests consuming alcoholic beverages, keeps track of the number of drinks served, asks manager to intervene without hesitation, and offers a taxi if senses that a guest should not drive.
Treats all guests in a respectful manner to ensure their complete satisfaction and consistently strives to exceed guests’ expectations.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This position does not require any prior experience or training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to add discounts and percentages.
Has the minimal skills necessary to operate a computer. Can log on to a computer system, navigate in windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position requires an OLCC server permit and Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire

Sun-Wed 11 am - 9 pm
Thurs 11 am - 9:30 pm
Fri-Sat 11 am - 10:30 pm
Minors Allowed 11 am - 9pm
